1772 Distillery established 1875 Rebuilt 1884 Closed 1971 Owned by Barton Distilling (Scotland) Ltd 1988 Resurrected and renovated by new owners Gibson International 1994 Gibson International went into receivership and the distillery was acquired by Glen Catrine Bonded Warehouses (now managed by sister company Loch Lomond Distillery Co Ltd)
