Description:

For 300 years Easter Elchies House has stood on the banks of the Spey as a symbol of Scottish fortitude. According to D Matheson's "The Placenames of Elginshire", from 1905, the name Macallan itself is a very old one, which can be traced as far back as the time of the introduction of the Christian faith into Scotland.
